PROJECTS
Health Media Clubs

Health Media Club happens at Wy’east Middle School, Hood River Middle School, and Hood River Valley High School. Health Media Club started in 2008 and over the past decade has been a place for students who care about building a healthy, safe, and drug-free community. We aim to develop leadership and advocacy skills as students interact with their peers and the community. Health Media students create prevention messages that are shared on local radio stations, in the Hood River News, theaters, alcohol retail locations, and within their schools. Health Media Club meets weekly at each school. Contact Belinda for more information.
